District 22 State Representative Christian Manuel, of Beaumont, wants to remain in Austin. Manuel
announced yesterday he will seek another term. On Tuesday, Al “Jamie” Price Jr. announced his
candidacy. Manuel is in his first term in the seat that was held for more than 20 years by Joe
Deshotel.
