Nederland police say a man brought a gun to the Apostolic Church on West 27tth Street Saturday during
a domestic dispute. The man left the church during a pumpkin patch event and returned with the gun.
Church members were able to wrestle the suspect and take the gun away from him. The gun discharged
during the struggle. A woman suffered cuts when glass shattered after the gun was fired. The suspect
was transported to jail.
