Beaumont police are investigating a case of theft of mail. Up to 80 mailboxes at a town home complex
in the 5900 block of Bedford were pried open last night. Officers were able to deliver some of the mail
that was scattered on the ground to the proper addresses. At this time it is not known how much mail
was stolen.
