One is jailed following a road rage shooting in Hardin County. It happened Saturday afternoon on
Highway 69 at Cooks Lake Road. 26-year old Stephen Parr, of Silsbee, is in stable condition after shots
were fired into his vehicle from another vehicle. 52-year old Thomas Wayne Wolcott was arrested near
Kountze Saturday night. He is charged with two counts of deadly conduct and aggravated assault with a
deadly weapon. Wolcott’s bonds total $250,000. Three other vehicles were involved in a wreck following
the shooting. The case is being investigated by the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office.
