Triple A Texas is reporting the average price for a gallon on gas in the Beaumont/Port Arthur dropped a
dime over the past week to $2.53 a gallon. A year ago we were paying $2.61 a gallon. The average price
for a gallon across the Lone Star state is down 10 cents to $2.55 a gallon. The national average this
morning is $3.08, that too is down 10 cents.
