Police have made an arrest in yesterday’s robbery of the Speedway store on Eastex Freeway.
51-year old Tarrell Donald Nowlin was arrested around midnight at the Budget Inn in the 5300 block of
College Street. Police say Nowlin robbed the convenience store at gunpoint yesterday afternoon.
His vehicle is believed to have involved in an aggravated robbery on Cardinal Drive on January 13th.
Nowlin is also a suspect in a Nederland carjacking the occurred around Noon yesterday. At this time,
Nowlin is jailed charged with the robbery of yesterday’s robbery of the Speedway in Beaumont.
