One man is dead and another jailed following a Saturday night shooting at an apartment complex in the
6500 block of Phelan Blvd in Beaumont. The victim has been identified as 23-year old Aaron Robert, of
Beaumont, died after shots were fired through a window striking him. The suspect, 25-year old Troy
Cheek, of Beaumont, was arrested and charged with murder.
