A 28-year old Dallas man is charged with DWI and manslaughter following a fiery crash on I-10 Saturday
night on the Orange County side of the Purple Heart Memorial Bridge on I-10. The DPS reports Mathew
Phoenix hit a vehicle from behind causing the wreck. A passenger in the vehicle hit, 45-year old Brandy
Leon, of New Iberia Louisiana died at the scene. The driver, 48-year old Bryant Leon was seriously
injured. The wreck shutdown the interstate for hours.
