Beaumont and Lamar University police are investigating a robbery near campus. The victim was
approached by two men yesterday afternoon in the 5000 block of Cochran and was punched in
the stomach during the robbery. Police talked to the victim at Lamar’s Student Health Center about
an hour after the robbery.
