A man from Orange has been sentenced to nearly three years in federal prison for being a felon in
possession of a firearm. 51-year old Michael Octavious Hampton purchased a gun at a pawn shop in
Orange last year. Data base showed he was a convicted felon/ He was later arrested at his home. He
pleaded guilty in October and was sentenced to 33 months yesterday.
