Tex-Dot has awarded Williams Brothers Construction $533.2 million for the I-10/Eastex Highway 69
project. which includes widening from four to six lanes from the Hollywood overpass to east of 7th
Street. Frontage roads and sound walls are also part of the project. On July 1st, the southbound on-
ramp toHighway 69/96 before Delaware will be closed until the interchange is complete.
Construction is expected to begin this fall and completed in 2029.
