Air Force recon did just measure winds to 65 mph so there has been slight strengthening. Motion is to the NW at 10 mph with a gradual turn to the NNW this evening. Landfall around 3 a.m. near Palacious in the Matagorda Bay area is expected tomorrow.
After landfall, the remnants will be northeast of College Station at 7 p.m. Monday and near Texarkana at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
Latest satellite imagery suggests that Beryl is gradually mixing out the dry air and will likely still become a CAT1 hurricane at landfall.
