It is your chance to meet the five finalists to be the next chief of police in Beaumont. There will be a meet and greet at the Beaumont Event Centre’ from 6:00 to 8:00 this evening. The finalist are Jason Plunkett, Jeff Hardy, Kyra Joy Hope, Troy Price, and Britta Steinbrenner. Plunkett is the only local finalist to replace Chief Jimmy Singletary, who is retiring, The five finalists will undergo interviews tomorrow.
