The sister of a 4-year old boy found locked in a closet that led to his death has been sentenced to 30 years in prison. 21-year old Kristen Louis was sentenced yesterday after pleading guilty. King Dewey was found severely malnourished in a closet, in Port Arthur in May of 2022. He weighed less than 20 pounds. Jaylin Lewis, the boyfriend of Kristen Louis is currently on trial, testimony resumes this morning. The child’s mother, Tina Louis, is also charged. She is awaiting trial.
