The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an aggravated robbery. Monday night, a masked man and a woman entered the Citgo gas station in the 2400 block of Highway 69 in Nederland. The suspect was armed with a rifle, pointed it at the clerk demanding money. The clerk and suspect struggled over the rifle. Both suspects fled the store and left in a dark older model single cab pickup with a green left front quarter panel. The suspects are a white male, wearing a black jacket and a white female that was wearing black leggings and a black pullover The clerk was treated for injuries sustained in the struggle.
