Beaumont police report a one-vehicle wreck claimed the life of a 73-year old Houston man and injured five others. Richard Baker was exiting off of Cardinal Drive onto I-10 west Sunday night when the left the road, went off the ramp into the grassy median below. Baker died at the scene. Five passengers were transported to a Houston hospital. They are expected to recover.
