(Huntsville, TX) --A man convicted of killing his infant son is scheduled to be executed in Huntsville tonight. Travis Mullis was convicted of the 2008 capital murder of his three-month old son, Alijah, whose body was found dumped alongside Seawall Boulevard in Galveston. After driving for three-days, Mullis entered a police station in Philadelphia and said he believed he was wanted for a murder in Texas. Mullis is now 38-years-old. His lethal injection is scheduled for 6 p.m. It will be the fourth Texas execution in 2024.
