A $7,500 bond has been set on a man charged with intoxication assault. 44-year old David Hatcher was operating a boat late Tuesday that struck a bridge on Taylor’s Bayou at Boondocks Road. A passenger in his boat was airlifted to a Galveston hospital after striking his head on the bridge. The three men on the boat were alligator hunting.
