No change in the price of a gallon of gas in the Beaumont/Port Arthur area over the past week as it stays at $2.64 a gallon. Last year on November 8th we were paying $2.86 a gallon. The statewide average is up a penny to $2.67 a gallon. Triple A Texas reports the national average for a gallon of gas is down three cents to $3.09.
