The Beaumont city council has given developer Tom Flannigan an extension to make repairs to the Gilbert Building in downtown. The building was gutted by fire on June 6th. Flannigan now has until March 11th to submit a report to show progress on the restoration. Councilmen Randy Feldsahu and Taylor Neild voted against the extension.
