Flights Cancelled AT DFW

(Dallas, TX) -- More than one-thousand flights have been canceled at the Dallas-Fort Worth Airport, thanks to an arctic blast. There's also massive delays at nearby Love Field. Those are hubs for both American Airlines and Southwest, meaning there is a ripple effect across the county. Officials at DFW say that they are treating seven runways with nearly 170-thousand gallons of liquid deicer. The National Weather Service is predicting half-a-foot of snow in parts of North Texas.
