A Beaumont man charged with four counts relating to the sexual abuse of a child goes on trial this week at the Jefferson County Courthouse. 49-year old Brian Edwards Hawley is accused of aggravated sexual assault of a child and continuous sexual abuse of a child. The alleged crimes dates back to 2006 when one of the two victims was under the age of 10. The trial is in Judge Raquel West’s courtroom.
