Update: Search Continues For Missing In Hill Country

(Kerrville, TX)-- At least 27 people have been killed by flash flooding in Texas. Kerr County Sheriff Larry Leitha confirmed today 18 adults and nine children are dead as search and rescue operations continue.Crews are searching for an unknown number of missing after catastrophic flash flooding on the Guadalupe River swept through summer camps along the river's banks early Friday northwest of San Antonio. Officials have conducted more than 160 air rescues. Leitha said a total of 850 uninjured and eight injured people had been rescued as of Saturday morning.  Three Beaumont Kelly graduates Aiden Heartfield, Aiden Cahill, and Joyce Baden, along with a friend of theirs Reese McChaca, are among the missing. Beaumont Ward 1 Councilman Corey Crenshaw tells us 2nd grader, Mary Grace Baker, of Beaumont, who was attending camp , is also among the missing.
