A man has pleaded guilty to two counts of intoxication manslaughter. Appearing in front of Judge Raquel West yesterday at the Jefferson County Courthouse 52 year old Salvado Gamaz entered the plea for the June 2024 deaths of 25 year old Lauren Stacks and 20 year old Camile Marti. Gamez was traveling south in the northbound lane of Highway 69 near the county jail when he collided head-on with the victims vehicle. He faces up to 20 years on each count and will be sentenced next month.
