A death investigation is under in the Hamshire area of Jefferson County. . Capital Crystal Holmes, with the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, says a woman returned home this morning and found her husband’s body in a burn pile on their property off of Mesa Drive. It appears the man was working around the burn pile and may have lost his balance and fell in.
