A Beaumont man has been indicted for intoxication manslaughter. 48 year old LaJanara Stevenson is charged with the death of 19 year old Jasmine Batiste. Prosecutors say Stevenson was intoxicated when he crashed into Batiste’s vehicle on Washington Blvd. on September 14th. He remains jailed under a $100,000 bond.
