A Jasper County jury has convicted and sentenced 37 year old Jacob Connally for sexually assaulting a 16 year old girl. Connaly is heading to prison for 40 years, without the possibility of parole, for the 2022 crime. Following his 2022 arrest, Connally was handcuffed at the sub-courthouse in Buna and fled on foot. He was quickly chased down.
