The city of Beaumont has revamped its animal care ordinances. In the past, all dogs or cats
over 4 four months of age were required to have a rabies vaccination once a year by a
licensed veterinarian. Now, every dog or cat over four months will be required to have a
rabies vaccination once over three years. Any new resident moving into the city must comply
to ordinance within 30 days.
