Two Arrested In Sulphur For Animal Cruelty

Two are jailed in Calcasieu Parish accused of animal cruelty. 26-year old  Kody Yellott  and

19-year old Alaura Nixon, both of Sulphur, were arrested on Monday after 14 dogs were found

in unsanitary living conditions. Two dead puppies were also found. The owner of the home

called police when she went to the home and found the dogs. Yellot and Nixon have been

charged with 14 counts of animal cruelty. Yellott was also charged with possession of drug

paraphernalia.
