A Port Arthur man is claiming self defense in the shooting death of his older brother. The
shooting occurred outside the Joe Louis Apartments in Port Arthur yesterday morning. 34-year
old Ronnie Wayne Jacobs was found inside a car and had been shot several times. He was
transported to the Medical Center of Southeast Texas where he was pronounced dead. 28-
year old Isiah Jacobs is jailed. The investigation is ongoing.
