The United Way of Beaumont and North Jefferson County has been collecting school supplies
over the past few weeks, due to the aftermath of Tropical Storm Harvey. The drive was
designed to help collect needed supplies for area school districts with students and teachers
affected by the storm. The drive ended this past Friday and today and tomorrow, supplies will be
delivered to Martin Elementary in Beaumont, Hamshire-Fannett Elementary in Fannett, and
Hardin-Jefferson Elementary in Sour Lake.
