Port Arthur Officers Have No Confidence In Police Chief

85% of the members of the Port Arthur Police Association has given Chief of Police Patrick

Melvin a vote of no confidence. The voting by the association started on October 27th and ended

yesterday. Among the questions members of the association were asked included, do you have

confidence in the police chief and the administration he has put in place, provide leadership

to officers, and provide the citizens of Port Arthur  the services and protection they deserve.

The vote was anonymous and conducted online.
