Major Lazer's New Track 'Go Dung' Is Pure Island Pop With A Twist

Major Lazer had a special holiday surprise for all the good boys and gals, but it's still extra points if you were naughty.

The trio presents delightful Caribbean pop on "Go Dung" feat. Trinidad and Tobago's Kes band. It's a bright, catchy dance floor offering with just enough of a dark bass hook to make things interesting. "Go Dung" is like saying "go down" in Jamaican Patwah, so you're supposed to get low -- or, for the adults in the audience, it could mean some other things.

"Go Dung" is released on Soundcloud as a free download. It's Major Lazer's way of saying thank you for another big year on the books. It follows the group's successful Know No Better EP, which topped the Reggae Albums charts and whose title track we at Billboard Dance named the eighth best dance song of the year.

Listen to "Go Dung" below, and welcome 2018 with a wine.
