Georgia Tops Oklahoma In Wild Rose Bowl Game

Sony Michel scampered 27-yards for the game-winning touchdown in double-overtime to lift Georgia past Oklahoma 54-48 at the Rose Bowl in the College Football Playoff semifinal. Michel finished with 181 yards and three scores on 11 carries.  Nick Chubb added 145 yards and two touchdowns for the Bulldogs, who piled up 317 rushing yards as a team.  Freshman quarterback Jake Fromm threw a pair of scores to help number-three Georgia book a spot in the CFP National Championship game.

Heisman Trophy winner Baker Mayfield tossed two touchdowns and an interception in defeat.  Rodney Anderson had a game-high 201 yards on the ground with two scores for fourth-ranked Oklahoma.  The Sooners wrap up the season at 12-and-2.
