Meet The Woman Who Went Viral For Photobombing Beyonce

Remember the viral photo of BeyoncĂŠ and that old woman that took the blogosphere by storm during the 60th annual Grammy festivity? Well, the details surrounding the run-in have surfaced and they sound rather adorable, as per the woman herself.

Speaking with The Boston Globe, Susan Monaghan recalled the incident, which saw her go viral moments after the pop titan shared the photo to millions on her Instagram account. "I swear, I felt like I was being hugged by an angel," she said of the unexpected encounter, which went down at the Sheraton New York Times Square Hotel. "I think it's hysterical. Strange things happen to me."

Monaghan, who was in town for her granddaughter's gymnastics competition and her daughter's birthday, didn’t recognize JAY-Z immediately. "I'm thinking in my mind, 'Who is this?' And I looked at him and he looked tall and thin and had curly hair and was really good-looking," she explained. "I was like, 'Oh my God!' I looked at [BeyoncĂŠ] and all I could think was, 'No one is going to believe me.'"

Why exactly did Bey share the shot of her and Monaghan in her travel to the Clive Davis Pre-Grammy Gala with her BeyHive? The Massachusetts native believes that it was all for her. "I think she posted it for me," she admitted. "So people would believe me."
