The grandson of a Jasper woman that was critically injured in a house fire earlier this week
is accused of setting the house on fire. 26-year old Cedric Ramon McGill Jr. is charged with
arson causing bodily injury. Firefighters were able to get Bertha McGill out of the home in
the 200 block of Othello Street in Jasper. She remains in critical condition at UTMB in
Galveston.
