Deputies with the Orange County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at a home
Wednesday in the 5300 block of Old Highway 87. Approximately two pounds of hydroponic
marijuana, with a street value of approximately $11,000 was found. Two firearms, surveillance
equipment, other electronic devices, and numerous items of drug paraphernalia were seized.
The resident, 57-year old Thomas Sonnier, was not arrested. Pending a further investigation,
he is facing multiple charges.
