A Jasper woman has been sentenced to more than 26 years in federal prison on production
of child pornography charges. 33-year old Janel Saphire Trahan took a photograph of herself
performing a sexual act on a 2-year old girl, then sending that photo to her husband. Trahan
pleaded guilty to the charges this past September and was sentenced today to 320 months.
