A Beaumont teen is jailed after breaking into vehicles on and off of Trahan Road in Lumberton
yesterday morning. Lumberton police say 18-year old Devonta Tyrone Stoker broke into
several unlocked vehicles. Police attempted to stop Stoker in a stolen vehicle when he sped
off. Stoker flipped the pickup on Village Creek Parkway. Stoker suffered minor injuries.
Stoker, who is already under indictment in Jefferson County, is now facing multiple charges
in Hardin County.
