Beaumont police are investigating an aggravated assault/family violence and aggravated
sexual assault of a child. Police were called to the area of Phelan and Calder last night where
a woman had been assaulted by her boyfriend. While being questioned, the woman accused
the boyfriend of sexually assaulting her 2-year old daughter. The daughter was transported
to the hospital to be examined. CPS has been notified
