The city of Beaumont reported 27 positive COVID-19 cases from Wednesday
bringing the total number of positive cases in the city to 2,691. The have been 2,883
in the Beaumont jurisdiction. 9,677 residents have been tested with 6,794 negative tests and
1,759 recoveries. There have been 51 COVID-19 deaths in Beaumont. All but one had
underlying health issues. The City of Port Arthur reported its 15th COVID death yesterday,
a woman aged between 80-85.
