Port Neches Man Sentenced To 13 Years After Probation Revoked

A Port Neches man that violated the terms of his probation on multiple occasions has been

sentenced to 13 years in prison. 35-year old Joseph Matthew Ragsdale was placed on 10

years deferred probation in 2016 after pleading guilty for the 2015 hit and run death of 48-year

old Terrel Wayne Segura, of Beaumont, who died after he was struck by a pickup in the 5600

block of College Street driven by Ragsdale, who left the scene. Ragsdale had his probation

revoked and was sentenced to the 13 years yesterday.
