FEMA Closing Center In Lake Charles

FEMA has announced that its disaster recovery center in Lake Charles will close at the end of

business tomorrow. In a statement released yesterday, the agency said residents in Jefferson

Davis Parish will have until 5 p.m. to visit the drive-through disaster recovery at Lacassine High

School. Those who have registered and need to have documents scanned and entered into their

case files can still visit several other FEMA disaster recovery centers across southeast Louisiana.
