The Orange County grand jury has indicted a woman accused of murdering her goddaughter.
32-year old Brenika Lott is charged with capital murder for the June death of 5-year old Daviana
Landry at a home in the 700 block of 10th Street in Orange. The child was nude and had bruising
of her arms, chest, and face. Lott was arrested three days later on a $1 million bond.
