Public Health Director Accused Of Stealing Vaccines

A Texas public health doctor is under arrest on claims he stole multiple doses of the coronavirus vaccine. Harris County prosecutors say Dr. Hasan Gokal took the shots from an Humble vaccine site late last month and gave them to friends and family. He's been fired from his position at Harris County Public Health. Prosecutors say they learned about the theft after Gokal told a co-worker. He could get a year in jail and a four-thousand-dollar fine.
