Woman Shot In The Arm In Bevil Oaks

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that occurred just before noon

in Bevil Oaks. Two women were arguing in the parking lot of a fireworks stand at the corner of

Highway 105 and Sweetgum. During an altercation, one of the females shot the other one in the

arm. The gunshot victim was transported to a hospital for treatment. The shooter fled the scene.
