Beaumont police are asking for the public’s assistance in solving a murder. On June 16th. 53-year
old Claude McField was shot and killed in the 4400 block of Magnolia Street. Police are looking
for a black man, approximately 5-10, with dreadlocks. The suspect was in a dark blue or black
Honda type vehicle. Detectives are also looking for McFields’s newly purchased dark colored
