A Port Arthur man faces up to five years in federal prison after pleading guilty to gun charges. 25-year
old Jarrel Jakeem Jackson was involved in a fight on Vicksburg Avenue in Port Arthur this past March.
As police arrived, Jackson fled of foot and discarded what turned out to be a stolen semiautomatic pistol.
Jackson, a felon, is prohibited from possessing a firearm. He will be sentenced later this year.
