Beaumont Man Pleads Guilty To Federal Gun Charges

A Beaumont man faces up to 10 years in federal prison after pleading guilty to felony gun

charges. 32-year old George Broussard threw a gun from his vehicle and sped off this past

March as police attempted to make a traffic stop in the 3700 block of Magnolia. He was

eventually stopped and the gun was recovered. Broussard, a convicted felon, is prohibited

from possession a firearm. He will be sentenced on a later date.
