The Beaumont Public Health Department is reporting 232 additional positive COVID-19
cases in the Beaumont jurisdiction since Friday. Seven additional deaths were reported. All but
one had underlying health issues. The vaccination numbers in Jefferson County are increasing
with 54.9% of residents, 12 and older, receiving the first dose and 43.4% are fully vaccinated.
